Truth Serum ~ The Silence is Deafening

This may sting just a little but love isn't always warm and fuzzy, and who can argue when you consider what Jesus went through because He "Loves" us. Now that your mind is clear, let's begin. It is almost impossible not to hear the sound of the silence coming from the body of Christ of late. The world is turning in on itself yet we don't seem to have very much to say about it. I know that this home is only temporary but at the same time, "the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof." So let me pose this question At what point are we going to take offense to our condition? More importantly, when will we learn to shout our objections in unison? The walls of Jericho came down when ALL of the people were on the same accord. There is so much division among believers right now that many non-believers feel justified in calling our Hope a joke. Jesus said according to John 13:34 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." Now imagine if everyone that calls themselves "Christian" followed this one simple mandate, how much better the condition this world would be?

Peter says (1 Peter 4:7-9) But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity (love) among yourselves: for charity (love) shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. So what's with all the hate filled "Christians" with their own agenda and theories on what our faith is or is not. Our biggest argument is who is right or wrong concerning our faith and the world is suffering because those in need are not being ministered to, encouraged, or given any incentive to believe again as the world is taking possession of our young people at a blinding rate which is the very place where our strength lies. The time has come to shout as a body "Enough!!" I believe just as Caleb that we are well able to conquer any adversary that we face but, our greatest strength comes when we face our enemies together. Come on People!!
