Jambalaya is the home of the Bull City Slam Team (BCST) that competes regionally and nationally each summer. Sponsored by the St. Joseph's Historic Foundation, the slam has been a mainstay in the Triangle for over 5 years. Each month poets gather to compete for a cash prize and a chance to make the Bull City Slam Team. The St. Joseph's Historic Foundation runs the Hayti Heritage Center, home of the BCST and Jambalaya Soul Slam.
$10 general, $5 for students and seniors
