For Successful Business

in Charlotte!

Carlos V. Davis is an entrepreneur,  mentor, radio personality, husband and about to be proud father! The University of Louisiana IT Grad truly wears many hats. With that, one must ask how UT was able to establish a time to interview him. Mr. Davis    however welcomed our magazine with open arms for the  interview, and in the process we learned so much more than expected.

UT: Tell us, what is the FIRM?

CD: The FIRM is the name that my wife came up with for the company! It is a company founded in Arkansas five years ago with various partners spanning from  Little Rock Arkansas, Shreveport Louisiana, and expanding into Kansas City Kansas. Our goal is to change the world, one person at a time.  One of the things I tell our staff  constantly is if you don't know the  person that you've just met, and know what he or she may need, then please do not tell them about us.

UT: So what are the company's goals?

CD: To always provide hope, even in today's conditions. I believe that we should always give people what they need, not what we need.

Our services can be utilized on a daily basis, from how to avoid foreclosure,    understanding what a "short sale" is, to    negotiating the finality of a severance package, and accessing lawyers for general questions and issues 24/7. All at an affordable rate!

UT: With today's economic conditions, what should people consider?

CD: That there are more people out here that want to start a business, learn how to maintain and protect their businesses; we help provide that, and provide    mentorship along the way. We want to see people prosper! By giving them           education, a powerful tool, it empowers them as well.

In five to ten years, we hope to be in every state, and because of that, we are constantly    looking for quality people. We are looking for those with a heart to help others, and know that they are

providing services that will help others, while building a legacy to be passed down from generation to generation.

UT: What words of advice would you give to  potential business owners?

CD: Never give up! Times are bad yes, and I too get discouraged, but I've learned to never give up, and to keep pushing against the pull. Get a great team around you from all backgrounds and diversity, which not only supports you, but holds you accountable for your actions and decisions!
